ok so since its been like 2 months since my last post i figured that i should probably get on here and let everyone know a few things (if you don't already).
So basically since november a lot has happened. I now live with my grandparents over in Kearney due to some stuff that happened with my step mom that i dont feel like going into at the moment cause im in a good mood and that would spoil it. So yeah i live with my grandparents which is really convenient for school cause the house is literally across the street. this all happend at the beginnign of winter break, so i went and stayed at my mom's for the duration of winter break and then decided that it would be easiest if i moved in with my grandma so i could go to school with out having to completely screw over everyone elses schedule.
On a brighter note, i have also started dating a wonderful girl named Katie, if you are on my mom's side of te family you most likly already met her at christmas, but if not here is a picture.
ok hmmmm lets see, its been so long i'm trying to remember what else i've done.
i did manage to get my classes switched over (see previous post) just in time to sign up for classes for my junior year. woohoo
here's what i signed up for
1. English 3 (required)
2. algebra 2 (required)
3. american history (required)
4. Chemistry (3 years of science required but i had options on what to take)
5. weight lifting (cause i like it)
6. music theory (cause it looked really cool and the teacher is really nice)
7. computer apps/personal finance (semster classes, both required courses)
so next year should be interesting, i'm looking forward to the music theory the most. mainly because right now i have no music classes in school because Kearney school district is retarded and don't have an orchestra program, that kinda pisses me off but i dont want to go to Winnetonka just to be able to take orchestra, i guess its this or choir, and i dont want to join choir
but the really nice thing about this is that if i get that schedule (or at least all those classes) next year then my senior year there are only 2 classes that are required to graduate for me those are College prep English and a speech class. no not like a speech therapy class a class that helps you get better at talking in front of large groups. but other than those 2 classes everything else is up to me. here's what im thinking for my senior year
1. college prep eng. (duh)
2. speech/novels
3. college chemistry or genetics
4. weight lifting (maybe Adv. weights)
5. psycology (maybe it might change it to study hall)
6. mythology (depending on if they still offer it then)
7. spanish 4 (this counts for college credit woohoo)
lets see...hmmmm
oh i also had a concert for those of you who dont know. it was alright...i didn't do as well as i could have, my cello was also out of tune because the piano i tuned to was out of tune :(
but other than that i was pretty good, if you want to you can go listen to the first 16 seconds of it over on my moms blog but i'm also trying to upload it to youtube as im typing. so hopefully i will get it working so you can all see the whole thing (it's like 4 minutes long)
speaking of the cello, i am also currently working on Bach Suite No.1 for the cello. right now i can play the prelude and the minuette 1 pretty well, not perfectly but well enough to get by i guess. but those are the 2 im working on right now, there are like 7 or 8 different pieces in the suite so i have a bit to work on, that and there are alos 6 suites on the book i have (insert worn out face here) i'll see if i can get some videos of me playing those and i'll post them somewhere
well thats not all of it but im tired of typing and i'm gonna go get some food.
until next time (which hopefully wont be in 2 months)
oh i almost forgot to mention, i looked at my grades online today....
